Vacation Visuals: San Francisco

Hi! I’m back! And I have (way too many) pictures! If you’d like to see, I’d love to share them with you. This post covers the highlights of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning - basically, all our time in San Francisco. I’ll do a separate, smaller post on Napa later this afternoon. Let’s start with our visit to Muir Woods on Thursday, shall we?

{We saw some Redwoods on Thursday.}

{I’m sure the tree fell exactly like that.}

{I really wanted to crawl through the hole, but the signs said to stay on the path. I’m a rule-follower.}

{You take hiking selfies, too. You do.}

{We walked for too long in too much heat to get here. But it was tasty.}

{Lunch in Sausalito. So much crab. So much yum.}{Lappert’s Hawaiian Sea Salt Caramel}

{Evening tour of Alcatraz}

{Welcome to prison.}

{Uniform pick-up}

{Very-public shower}

{So homey}

{Solitary}
{The city is so close… and so far.}

{I went exploring while my mom slept on Friday morning.}

{Mural in Chinatown}{Microsoft building}

{The Best Damn Cheeseburger. It was.}

{Palace of Fine Arts}

{Golden Gate}

{Baseball}

{The Giants won.}

{Japanese Tea Garden}

{I like twisty trees.}

{Sweet little secluded spot} {I kinda blend in with the sky…}

{The Ferry Building Marketplace was pretty sweet. Foodie paradise.}
{Such a cool company!}

{“So our customers can really get to know the beans they’re eating.” Okay.}

{The Jeni’s of San Francisco?}{Toast & Jam ice cream and Fudge sorbet}

{Until next time, San Francisco!}

Wow. That was a lot of pictures. Thanks for sticking with me! Check back later for a bit on Napa.

      Thanks! We really didn’t want to leave Muir Woods (my dad and I wanted to stay and hike some more), but we had to catch our bus :/ It was so gorgeous and peaceful!

    Beautifully stunning…thank you for the vicarious vacation experience! A lot of your pictures brought on the nostalgia for me, because it was very similar to a lot of places I’ve been in the San Fran area. My mom’s side of the family all live over there, so I’ve seen similar, if not exactly the same, sites as you did…a Japanese Tea Garden, the art museum, the hike (which really reminded me of the the Redwood Tours we took with our grandparents as well as hiking around Yosemite National Park).

    And as always, I appreciated the food highlights. 😉

    San Francisco is one of my favorites cities ever! I didn’t get to go to Alcatraz when I went there, but I hope to go back soon! Love the pictures :)

    I’ve never been to San francisco but your pictures really make me want to go!!! I would never wear those jeans. My random thought is I’m really tired of this stupid fruit fly buzzing around. lol

      It was a really cool place to visit! I like Napa even better, but both were wonderful. Hope that fruit fly stops bugging you :)
